My art series, titled "Naked Truths”, aims to explore the human form in its rawest and most vulnerable state. Through the use of the nude figure as a subject, I aim to challenge societal norms and perceptions surrounding nudity and the human body. The diverse range of participants, including both friends and strangers, recruited through various means such as a Facebook post, adds to the series' exploration of the many different perspectives and experiences surrounding nudity. The varied reactions to my request for participation, ranging from confusion to excitement, also play a role in the series' examination of societal attitudes towards nudity. The act of undressing and being seen in one's most natural state serves as a metaphor for the act of revealing one's true self and the power of vulnerability.
