Mother’s Love moves between orchard and myth, between the particular and the archetypal. The apple and the serpent — two ancient symbols of paradise — appear here in a garden that is already burning. The snakes carry light inside them. The fruit catches fire on the branch.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Especially if the tree is on fire.
